Timetables

Moorsbus Timetables
Moorsbus operates a bus network servicing the North York Moors National Park in summer.
Moorsbus 2025, May 3rd - September 28th, with services on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
This year we have exciting service expansions, but also frustrating service withdrawals, and we'll be uploading your timetables as soon as we can. Please then check the timetables carefully, as there are some significant changes since last year.
Also, due to extended roadwork weight restrictions in upper Rosedale, the M3 and M6 timetables are likely to change from the start of August.
To help us expand services, please donate here.

How to get to the Moorsbus network from Northallerton, on Sundays, until 28th September 2025, and August 25th Bank Holiday
Train Northallerton 9.47am - Thirsk 9.55am. Walk up Thirsk station steps from platform and turn left over footbridge, walk up the long station carpark to the road, and wait for the bus at the marked bus stop there. (You could take something to read, as it's a bit of a wait). The M5 Moorsbus arrives at 10.35, it goes to Helmsley, where there are further route options. Route maps are available here.
If you need wheelchair assistance for the line crossing at Thirsk, please notify train staff in advance when you book your ticket.
Going home again, the M5 from Helmsley will drop you opposite the station carpark at 17.18, and the train leaves at 17.42.
